Release Notes

  • Supports Terraria v1.2.4

The setup file will make sure .NET 4 is installed, install TerraMap, create desktop and start menu shortcuts, add a .wld file association, and launch TerraMap.

If you prefer the zip file, make sure you have .NET Framework v4.5 installed, then just download and extract the ZIP file, and run TerraMap.exe.

  • Improved performance of highlighting with sets (issue #35325).
  • Added Apply button to blocks drop down list, highlight changes are deferred until it's clicked (makes selecting multiple much quicker).

  • Added a few block/item sets (Corruption, Crimson, Hallow, Chests, Doors) that can be used to highlight/find groups of blocks/items. I'll add more later, and explore the ability for user-created custom sets.
  • Search box is now automatically focused when blocks drop down is opened.
  • Fixed Issue 35324: Shark statue not being highlighted
  • Fixed ability to find Shark Statues, Demon Altars, Crimson Altars, Shadow Orbs, Crimson Hearts, and Spiky Ball Traps.
  • Fixed chest item counts overflowing (999 was showing as 231).
  • Fixed chest item popup not scrolling if the list doesn't fit on the screen.
  • Fixed tooltips for some toolbar buttons.

  • Fixed highlight blurriness from v1.0.5.

  • Added the ability to select multiple highlighted block types.
  • Added a dynamic, interactive highlight opacity slider, making it easier to find highlighted tiles with dark colors.
  • Added ability to find Enchanted Swords (in the stone) and Water Bolt books

  • Fixed finding Demon Hearts/Shadow Orbs
  • Added ability to find Enchanted Swords (in the stone) and Water Bolt books
  • Fixed installer not uninstalling older versions

  • Fixed Issue 35206: Hightlight/Find doesn't work for Demon Altars

Reviews for this release

It's everything you may expect from a map viewer - fast, lightweight and simple, yet very functional. You can highlight any kind of blocks and objects on the map, check the content of chests and get detailed statistics for the world. I've tried the other alternatives and they are too heavy for my low spec computer.

Hard to use, and there are better mappers out there like MoreTerra. Couldn't figure out how to list all the markers whereas on MoreTerra I found it within minutes without reading anything.
