Release Notes

  • Added support for the new Terraria v1.2.4 update.
    • New items, walls, and tiles
  • Added the ability to select multiple highlighted block types.
  • Added a dynamic, interactive highlight opacity slider, making it easier to find highlighted tiles with dark colors.
  • Added ability to find Enchanted Swords (in the stone) and Water Bolt books
  • Fixed Issue 35206: Hightlight/Find doesn't work for Demon Altars
  • Fixed finding Demon Hearts/Shadow Orbs
  • Fixed installer not uninstalling older versions

The setup file will make sure .NET 4 is installed, install TerraMap, create desktop and start menu shortcuts, add a .wld file association, and launch TerraMap.

If you prefer the zip file, make sure you have .NET Framework v4.5 installed, then just download and extract the ZIP file, and run TerraMap.exe.

Even though it's still Alpha, I'll go ahead and say this: Amazing! I really love it. The highlighted blocks are a little blurry, and it lags a little at around 80% loaded, but other than that, it's really nice! Keep up the good work, and thank you for adding multiple highlighted block types! Really makes it 200% more amazing. :)

Thanks for the feedback! I went ahead and marked it as Alpha and left 1.0.4 as the default release until I got some feedback. I hadn't noticed the blurry highlighted blocks, but I think I know what causes that. I'll try to fix it tonight and investigate the lag at 80% (hadn't noticed it either), and get a new build released. Edit: Fixed the blurry highlighted blocks in v1.0.6, thanks!
